Postfin
Terms of Service
Effective August 24, 2026 · Last updated August 24, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a contract between you and Postfin (“Postfin,” “we,” “us”) for the website and product at postfin.ai (the “Service”).
Postfin is the first AI-powered social media automation platform we ship under that name: your brand’s social media, on autopilot. You give Postfin a product link or a brief. Postfin can generate short-form content (UGC-style talking-head videos, slideshows, scenic comedy, Lego-style clips, app slideshows, before & after, and captions), then schedule and publish to social accounts you connect. You can still edit anything before it goes live. You can also upload your own video or images with Add post.
By creating an account, clicking Get Started, signing in with Google, or using the dashboard, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Postfin for a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. The Service is built for brands and businesses posting to social platforms, not for children. You are responsible for complying with the minimum-age and commercial-use rules of every platform you connect (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and others).
2. Accounts
You may create an account with:
- Email and password — password must be at least 8 characters; or
- Sign in with Google — we use your Google email and Google user id to open a Postfin workspace. That login is not the same as connecting YouTube for publishing.
You must provide a valid email and keep your credentials secret. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us at hello@postfin.ai if you think someone else has access.
Each account gets its own workspace (products, jobs, connected accounts, credits). Sessions last up to 30 days via an HttpOnly cookie. Sessions are stored in server memory, so a restart of the Service logs everyone out. We may rate-limit login attempts.
We may refuse, suspend, or close an account that violates these Terms, appears abusive, or presents legal or security risk.
3. The Service — what Postfin does
Subject to these Terms and available credits, Postfin may:
- scrape a product URL you submit for photos, name, and description (physical products, software, apps, or a written brief);
- generate scripts, captions, stills, and videos in the styles the product offers, including UGC talking-head, scenic comedy, Lego-style, app slideshow, and before & after;
- show a calendar of scheduled work, Recents, analytics, and connected accounts;
- publish or schedule posts to platforms you connect from Connectors (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others when enabled — Facebook, X, Threads, Pinterest, LinkedIn may be available depending on configuration);
- accept manual uploads (video or images plus a caption) for Post now or Schedule, without charging generation credits;
- pull performance metrics from connected platforms where those APIs exist.
For software or apps, the product is talking-head at a desk or a slideshow locked to screenshots — not a fake bottle in someone’s hand. You should not expect a catalog thumbnail sent straight into image-to-video to lock a real face; Postfin’s UGC path uses a speaker frame and spoken audio when that pipeline is available. If a speaker frame cannot be generated, we may fall back to text-to-video rather than catalog-still image-to-video.
Talking-head lines are typically 35–50 words, first-person to the audience, with a “link in bio” style call to action and no URLs spoken in the prompt. You can rewrite captions in the product.
We do not promise that a given model (Veo, Kling, Wan, Seedance, Grok Imagine, Happy Horse, HeyGen, or others) will be available on every job. The planner may pick a model, or you may pick one in the calendar where that control exists. Silent-only models are not the intended talking-head path.
4. Credits, plans, and payment
Generations consume credits. New self-serve accounts start at 0 credits unless we grant some. Approximate costs today (subject to change without notice as model prices change):
- UGC / talking-head video: 950 credits
- Scenic comedy: 900 credits
- Lego-style: 1,150 credits
- App slideshow: 165 credits
- Before & after: 135 credits
- Manual Add post: 0 generation credits
If you do not have enough credits, the generation will not run. Credits already spent on a render that started are generally not refunded, including when a platform later rejects the post, a model output looks wrong, or you delete the job. We may regenerate a failed job at our discretion.
Onboarding may show paid plans, including Starter at $19 per month, Growth at $49 per month, and Scale at $199 per month, described as cancel-anytime subscriptions. Starter is intended to grant 5,000 credits when payment processing is live. Card billing is not processed inside Postfin until we connect a payment provider; until then, selecting a plan in onboarding does not by itself charge your card. When billing is enabled, charges, taxes, invoices, and cancellations will be handled by that provider and shown at checkout. We will update these Terms with the processor name and refund rules at that time.
Operator or internally flagged accounts may receive paid-plan credit grants for running the product. Credit balances are not cash, have no resale value, and expire if we close the Service or your account for violation of these Terms.
5. Your content and license to Postfin
“Your Content” means product URLs, briefs, captions, uploads, brand assets, product photos, app screenshots, and anything else you submit, plus the outputs you keep after generation.
You retain whatever rights you already have in Your Content. You grant
Postfin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, scrape,
copy, transcode, generate derivatives of, display, and transmit Your
Content solely to operate the Service — including sending it to OpenAI,
fal.ai, HeyGen, and the social platforms you connect, and serving media
from public /ugc-media URLs so those platforms can fetch a
file at publish time.
You represent and warrant that:
- you have the right to use the product URL, brand, and assets;
- uploads do not infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights;
- you will not submit others’ personal data except as allowed by law and by those people;
- if you upload a real person’s likeness, you have all releases needed for advertising use.
Generated videos often depict a synthetic UGC-style speaker. They are not a promise that a real named creator endorsed your product. You must not present AI output as a real person’s testimonial without that person’s authorization.
6. Publishing to social platforms
When you connect an account, you authorize Postfin to post, schedule, and (where implemented) read insights as that account. Posts go out under your identity, not as an official Postfin channel.
You are solely responsible for:
- each platform’s terms, community standards, advertising rules, and disclosures (including paid partnership / AI-content labels where required);
- caption accuracy, claims, music, and hashtags;
- whether a post is public, followers-only, or self-only;
- TikTok Content Posting API limits — until TikTok audits an app, posts may be limited to the connected user (self-only) even if you wanted public reach;
- taking down content on the platform itself if you need it removed.
Platforms can reject, delay, mute, or take down content. They can revoke tokens. Postfin is not liable for a platform outage, API change, audit status, or ban of your account.
Default talk-to-camera posts should not include medical or cure claims. You must not use Postfin to make unlawful health, financial, or guaranteed results claims.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or these Terms;
- generate or post CSAM, sexual content involving minors, or any exploitative content;
- run scams, phishing, malware, or unauthorized access against anyone;
- infringe IP or impersonate a real person or brand without rights;
- spam, scrape Postfin, or overload the Service;
- share your password or sell access to your workspace;
- reverse engineer the Service except where the law says you may;
- use outputs to train a competing public model in violation of our vendors’ rules;
- submit product pages or data you are not allowed to copy;
- use the Service for political deepfakes, non-consensual intimate imagery, or harassment.
We may remove content, disconnect platforms, spend-stop credits, or close accounts that we reasonably believe violate this section.
8. AI output — no warranties
Scripts, voices, faces, captions, and videos are produced by third-party models. They can be wrong, off-brand, visually distorted, or inconsistent from clip to clip. Lip-sync, product fidelity, and “real person” quality are not guaranteed. You must review every piece before it publishes.
THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POSTFIN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that generations will complete by a scheduled slot, that analytics are complete, that media URLs stay private, or that a particular fal.ai, OpenAI, HeyGen, or platform API will remain available or similarly priced.
9. Third-party services
The Service depends on Google, OpenAI, fal.ai, optional HeyGen, Railway (or similar hosting), PostgreSQL, and the social networks you connect. Their terms apply to their processing. A failure or policy change on their side can interrupt Postfin. Brand logos on the login and marketing pages (YETI, Stanley, LEGO, and others) are used as familiar marks in the UI; unless a brand has a Postfin account, they are not stating an endorsement of Postfin.
10. Intellectual property in Postfin
Postfin, the postfin.ai site, our logo, dashboard, and software (excluding Your Content and third-party models) are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not sell you the product — they license you to use the Service while your account is in good standing.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect
(account data, scraped product pages, OAuth tokens, generated files,
analytics) and the vendors we use. Public media URLs under
/ugc-media may be fetched without logging into Postfin.
That is required for some publishers to ingest video.
12. Suspension, cancellation, and deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time and sign out. There is not yet an in-app account-deletion button; email hello@postfin.ai to request deletion. We may suspend or terminate immediately for violation of these Terms, unpaid obligations (when billing exists), or risk to the Service.
After termination we may delete workspace data as described in the Privacy Policy. Posts already live on social platforms remain there until you remove them on those platforms. Unused credits are forfeited on termination for cause.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POSTFIN AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, LOST GOODWILL, OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50). If you have not paid us (including while accounts start at zero credits), our liability is limited to US $50.
Some places do not allow certain limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.
14. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Postfin against claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from Your Content, your posts, your connected accounts, your violation of these Terms or of platform rules, or your infringement of someone else’s rights.
15. Changes to the Service and to these Terms
We can change features, models, credit prices, enabled platforms, and these Terms. We will update the date at the top. Material changes may be noted in the product or by email. Continued use after the update is acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using Postfin and request account deletion.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Postfin is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in that state will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any forum. If you are a consumer with mandatory local rights, those rights still apply.
17. Miscellaneous
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement for the Service. If a section is unenforceable, the rest remains. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger or sale of the Service. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. There are no third-party beneficiaries except as required by law.
Headings are for reading only. “Including” means “including without limitation.”
